When "Outlander" season 3 rolls around, fans will be treated to a few new faces. It has been revealed that César Domboy and Lauren Lyle have been cast in the respective roles of Fergus and Marsali.

It can be remembered that Fergus is the young thief whom Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Claire (Caitriona Balfe) sheltered in the second season. Domboy, who is of French nationality, will be playing an all-grown up Fergus. On the other hand, Lyle will be bringing Marsali to life. Marsali is one of the daughters of Laoghaire MacKenzie (Nell Hudson).

According to Variety, Fergus is a "charming, devilishly handsome man with a strong sense of loyalty and decorum, despite his unconventional upbringing in a brothel." He is not afraid to show and express his true emotions and he is incredibly loyal to Jamie. Meanwhile, Marsali is an 18-year-old romantic who is as rebellious as she is enthusiastic.

But Domboy and Lyle aren't the only newcomers on the block. It has been previously reported that David Berry will be portraying an older Lord John Grey. For those who are unaware, a younger John Grey was introduced to viewers back in season 2. Now that he's all grown up, Berry's character will have matured a lot and is described to have "a strong moral compass of right and wrong." Also handsome and honorable, Grey will find himself in a sticky situation when a past scandal is brought to light once more.

Fans won't have to wait too long to see the upcoming season since it has also been said that production has already begun. Jamie and Claire found themselves separate at the end of season 2, so fans are certainly looking forward to their reunion come season 3. However, it will not be an easy journey. The two lovers will have to suffer through difficulties and problems before they return to each other's arms.

"Outlander" season 3 will premiere in 2017.
