The release date of "One Punch Man" season 2 is still a mystery, but that hasn't stopped viewers from lapping up every bit of news and speculations that have come out.

There's no doubt that there will be another season of "One Punch Man." After all, Saitama's adventure is one of the more popular anime series around. But when second season will come out is anyone's guess.

"One Punch Man" creator Yusuke Murata has reportedly confirmed that he's working on the next season of the show. However, it has been said that the animator is also busy with his other projects, including another animated series, and that this is one of the reasons for the show's delay.

Other reports have posited that "One Punch Man" season 2 might be delayed as the English-dubbed version of the series is still being aired. Rumors have surfaced that an announcement regarding season 2's release date will be aired once Toonami has finished airing the series. This is said to happen early September, which is why some fans are expecting a new season to be aired in October or November.

However, there are fans who would rather see that the network just airs "One Punch Man" season 2 straight up as the dubbing was said to have been lacking in terms of quality. Some fans were reportedly unhappy with the voices, while others believe the dialogue lost something in the translation.

Aside from the release date, fans are also in the dark with regard to season 2's storylines and, as expected, numerous speculations have also cropped up. There are fans who believe that Saitama would be facing multiple villains next time, including Garou, Amai Mask, and a returning Boros. While Saitama soundly defeated him in the first season, Boros will reportedly be back for a rematch.
