'One Punch Man' season 2 release date, rumors: Air date still up in the air; Yusuke Murata intentionally delays launch

(Facebook/One Punch Man)Rumor has it that Saitama will lose his powers in "One Punch Man" season 2.

Despite the clamor of the fans, the release of "One Punch Man" season 2 is still up in the air, and it is suspected that its author Yusuke Murata is deliberately delaying its release.

According to reports, fans are suspecting that Murata intentionally delays the release of "One Punch Man" season 2. However, it is not clear what the reason Murata could be for allegedly stalling the release of the highly anticipated anime action comedy.

However, it is clear that fans are already clamoring for the release of "One Punch Man 2," as, reportedly, many have been disappointed with the English-dubbed version of the anime on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim.

While it is true that bringing the anime to Adult Swim is one way to expand the fanbase of Saitama and the series on the whole, it is said that how it is dubbed in English does not sit well with the viewers. Allegedly, non-Japanese speaking fans of the anime are even more comfortable watching the original version of the anime in Japanese with English subtitles.

Other sources, on the other hand, claim that there is a possibility for "One Punch Man" season 2 to air between October and November and may introduce a new character that will just be as powerful as Saitama.

It is also said that the upcoming season will feature Saitama losing his superpowers, and the series will cast the spotlight on Genos.

It was also rumored earlier that "One Punch Man" season 2 will feature Saitama getting entangled in a love triangle that will make his life even more complicated. The same source also predicted that Saitama will be facing a much stronger and powerful Lord Boros, whom he already defeated in season 1.

While there is no denying that the alleged events in "One Punch Man" season 2 are nothing short of being exciting, unfortunately, they will remain as speculations at this point in time and can only be confirmed once "One Punch Man" season 2 finally airs.

As to when exactly, only time will tell.
