"Once Upon A Time" went on a winter break after season 6 episode 11, "Wish You Were Here," was aired on Dec. 4 last year, but the long wait is going to be worth it.

TVLine has learned that Rose McIver will return to portray TinkerBell, and the fairy is set to join Regina (Lana Parrilla) and Robin Hood (Sean Maguire) in their adventures.

"Tinker Bell was integral to Regina discovering her destiny with Robin Hood, so it only stands to reason that with Sean Maguire's return to the show, our favorite fairy would pop back in for a visit," series' creators Adam Horowitz and Eddy Kitsis told TVLine.

The character made her first appearance in the third season of "Once Upon A Time" when Henry Mills (Jared S. Gilmore) was abducted by Peter Pan (Robbie Kay) and brought to Neverland.

In a separate interview with EW, Horowitz and Kitsis also confirmed the return of JoAnna Garcia Swisher as Ariel of the Little Mermaid.

"Ariel returns and meets Princess Jasmine [Karen David] as they join Hook [Colin O'Donoghue] on an adventure as he and Emma [Jennifer Morrison] face a daunting challenge that requires a big time princess team-up," the producers said.

Swisher's character appeared in season 4 when she helped the sea witch Ursula (Merrin Dungey) reunited with her father, Poseidon (Ernie Hudson).

In the upcoming episode of this fairytale-come-to-life TV series, the main characters will embark in separate journeys. Emma and Regina are caught in a wish realm, while Hook and David (Josh Dallas) are determined to find the two heroines.

Meanwhile, Belle (Emilie de Ravin) and Rumpelstiltskin (Robert Carlyle) will battle the Black Fairy (Jaime Murray) in order to save their son, Gideon (Giles Matthey).

Of course, the other characters will also appear, so that's something to look forward to.

"Once Upon A Time" season 6 will return on Sunday, Mar. 5, at 7 p.m. EST on ABC.
