After years of speculation, "Once Upon a Time" finally has plans of introducing an LGBT relationship in the upcoming fifth season.
According to Entertainment Weekly, executive producers Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis stated in an interview for the show that:
"We know that [LGBT] community have been big supporters of the show, and we would love to be able to tell a love story that reflects that, it is something that we're going to do this year. We want the show to reflect the world as it is now. Whether that's going to be with any particular character, we're not going to say... It's something we think is due and important to do on the show."
While it is still unclear as to which characters would be burning up the TV screen, most fans have already speculated that it would be Mulan and Aurora. First introduced in the second season, over the course of the show, it was revealed that Mulan is a lesbian and has feelings for the damsel-in-distress, Aurora.
