There is very little similarity between the Nexus 6 and the HTC One M9 , but when it comes to looks, these two devices are some of the very best offered in the market. Here is how the huge phablet from Google compares with the One M9 .

Design

When comparing these two devices, it is clear that the One M9 has all the good looks of the flagship One M9. It comes with a similar metal unibody and has a sleek look.  In addition, it has a fingerprint scanner incorporated into its home button, which lies just below the display. As for colors, there are three options, silver, gold and grey while the Nexus 6 only comes in blue and white. The only premium element on the Nexus 6 is its metal band running along its edge, otherwise, the device is made of plastic. It has a smooth back panel with a dimple containing the Motorola emblem, as the company manufactured the device for Google.

Display

Those who prefer large screened phablets will love the huge AMOLED screen measuring 5.96 inches on the Nexus 6, which has a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and a density of 493 pixels per inch. As for the One M9 , it has a much smaller Super LCD3 screen measuring 5.2 inches with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and a density of 565 pixels per inch.

Specs

The One M9 is the better device when it comes to hardware as it was just released this year. It comes with a Mediatek MT6795T chipset, coupled with an octa-core CPU clocked at 2.2 GHz and a PowerVR G6200 CPU. On the Nexus 6 is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chipset, a Krait 450 CPU with four cores clocked at 2.7 GHz and an Adreno 420 GPU.

Memory

A memory slot is not present on the Nexus 6 so external storage cannot be added. The One M9 , on the other hand, comes with a version which allows for the addition of up to 128 GB of storage. In terms of RAM, each has 3 GB on board.

Price

The Nexus 6 is priced at $249 with a two-year contrac. The One M9 is yet to arrive in carriers but is available via online retailers for $650.
