'NCIS: New Orleans' season 3 episode 3 spoilers and updates: Pride and his team search for a kidnapped petty officer
Dwayne Pride and the FBI might still be at odds, but at least Special Agent Gregorio has made some headway in integrating herself in the team. But a new case involving a kidnapped petty officer has the team scrambling. Is the case too big for them?
The FBI breathing down his neck didn't stop Pride (Scott Bakula) from putting his career on the line just to help his friend in the previous episode. But the team leader had some help from FBI Agent Gregorio (Vanessa Ferlito) as she stood up for Pride and his group and worked with them to solve a multiple homicide case.
The team will be facing another challenging case in episode 3 when a decorated petty officer is found dead inside a sports arena. The evidence soon leads Pride and his team to another case, this time involving a kidnapped petty officer who was last seen in Mexico.
It would appear that there's a connection between the two cases and the team has to race against the clock to save the life of the kidnapped Navy officer. There are speculations that the two cases might be too much for the team to handle and would necessitate a SWAT team to provide reinforcements.
Several photos from the upcoming episode, "Man on Fire," suggests the NCIS team will be headed south of the border. Several photos also show the team in the first crime scene, with "Extra's" Mario Lopez seen portraying an NOPD officer.
Meanwhile, the "NCIS" franchise is currently mourning the death of showrunner Gary Glasberg. The renowned producer died in his sleep on Wednesday, Sept. 28. The cast and crew of "NCIS" released a statement on Twitter praising Glasberg for being their rock and team captain.
"He inspired us with his leadership, his creative instincts and keen insight," the statement reads. "'NCIS' will not be the same without him, and each of us will miss his smiling face and unwavering humor, which lifted us every day."
In loving memory of Gary Glasberg. https://t.co/kubHizmQSm pic.twitter.com/ToCjFHQ4Ad
