'NCIS: LA' season 8 episode 4 spoilers: Squad tracks down the notorious Triad
The squad will be tapped to go after the Triad assassins in the upcoming episode of "NCIS: Los Angeles."
In the episode titled "Black Market," the synopsis (as per CarterMatt) reveals that a Homeland Security agent will die due to poison. Preliminary investigation will lead to the notorious group that has been causing mayhem in LA recently. The NCIS must find the Triad fast before it becomes too late.
Aside from the poisoning case, the team will also be asked to probe the truth behind the stolen funds from the government. The trail will point the agents to a seemingly innocuous warehouse. What is inside, however, will shock them. What will they find?
Meanwhile, Kensi (Daniela Ruah) is still in the ICU and recuperating from the injuries she sustained in Syria. She and the others were fleeing from the terrorists, but their getaway plane was shot. Kensi was trapped under the aircraft, and if not for her team's effort to get her out of there, she could have died. Granger (Miguel Ferrer) put his job on the line and ordered a drone strike to save his agents. He bypassed the undersecretary of defense, Corbin Duggan (Jackson Hurst), who was already investigating him and Hetty (Linda Hunt) for negligence.
Nell (Renée Felice Smith) will still substitute for Kensi. The young analyst has proven to be a useful addition to the squad. Meanwhile, Hetty will once again be back at her desk, thanks to Duggan's superior. The secretary of defense has allowed her to return to the NCIS, providing she can flush out the spy in the organization before the deadline. On a lighter note, News Everyday reports that Callen's (Chris O'Donnell) love interest, Ana Kolcheck (Bar Paly), will be back in the next episode.
"NCIS: Los Angeles" will return on Sunday, Oct. 16 at 8 p.m. EST on CBS.
