Following the confirmation that Pedro Pascal is returning to "Narcos" for its third season, it was also recently revealed that Javier Camara will be joining the cast.

Pascal himself took to Instagram to celebrate his co-star's entry to the hit drama. "Con este genio para #NarcosSeason3. @javiercamara1 #Netflix #Bogota #Colombia." In English, the quote reads: "With this genius for #NarcosSeason3."

Camara is known for his performances in the movies "Talk to Her," "Bad Education" and "I'm So Excited" and he also starred in the TV drama "7 Vidas." He is a recipient of the Goya Award for Best Actor and is also a Best Actor awardee for the European Film Awards.

Spanish Netflix also took to Instagram to share its joy for Camara's stint with "Narcos." They uploaded a video of Camara as he prepares for the role. The translated version of the post's caption reads: "We sent #Narcos good quality material. Welcome to the cartel, @javiercamara1."

So far, there is no news regarding the role that the Spanish actor will portray, but based on Netflix Spain's post, it seems that he will be part of the Cali Cartel's trades and transactions.

It is already expected that "Narcos" season 3 will be shifting the spotlight to the Cali Cartel, now that Pablo Escobar (Wagner Moura) is gone for good. While Pablo's passing is done with, his legacy in the drug trade of Colombia will obviously continue to live in the people he has left.

It has yet to be revealed if Boyd Holbrook's Steve Murphy will return to help his dear friend Javier Pena track down and destroy the Calis but fans can expect Pascal's Pena to continue the fight against drugs and corruption in the country.

If ever Camara's character will play a major role in the Cali Cartel's movements, viewers can expect him to cross paths with Pena at some point, especially by the end of the season when the Cali Cartel finally falls.
