Is "Mortal Kombat X" still set to receive a third "Kombat Pack?"

That's the question on the minds of many players right now, and unfortunately, there's no clear answer that's currently available.

These past few weeks and even months, "Mortal Kombat" co-creator Ed Boon's tweets have been fueling the speculation that a new DLC pack will be released for the currently available fighting game, but over the past week or so, no new teases have emerged.

For what it's worth, it does seem as though Boon has taken notice of the fans' desire for a "Kombat Pack 3" to be made available.

Boon acknowledged the hunger for the rumored DLC pack in a Twitter poll he conducted earlier this month, and he even mentioned the "Kombat Pack 3" directly.

At this point, the teasers have gone on for long enough that having no pay-off at the end would probably be really disappointing for "Mortal Kombat X" players.

Fans have already even begun to speculate about who may be included in a third "Kombat Pack," with popular suggestions including Fujin and Noob. If past "Kombat Packs" are to be used as indicators, then a third one may also feature some guest characters from popular horror movie franchises.

While a "Kombat Pack 3" is by no means guaranteed to arrive even at this point, it would probably be more surprising to find out that it isn't being released as opposed to it being officially revealed eventually, considering just how much fans have already expressed their desire to see it.

With a bit of luck moving forward, the speculations will come to an end soon and fans will find out once and for all that they are finally getting that elusive "Kombat Pack 3."

More news about "Mortal Kombat X" should be made available in the near future.
