'Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation' posters, cast, plot, spoilers, release date: Director Christopher McQuarrie's gives some new spoilers
The highly-anticipated "Mission: Impossible Rogue-Nation" is set to be released in just a month from now, but details about the movie continue to surface. The latest spoilers have come from none other than the movie's cast and crew themselves, and by the looks of it, the latest installment of the "Mission Impossible" series is sure to shake up what fans already know about Ethan Hunt and the IMF.
"Mission: Impossible Rogue-Nation", which completed production in March this year, is an upcoming "action spy film" directed by Christopher McQuarrie and starring Tom Cruise. Initially, the movie was slated for release during the holiday season of 2015. However, since two other blockbuster films were scheduled to premiere in December, the production team of "Mission Impossible" decided to move up its release date to July in order to avoid competition.
The movie will be the fifth installment of the "Mission Impossible" series and is preceded by the highest grossing movie in the franchise – "Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol."
In an interview with Yahoo Movies, the film's director has thrown some light on what can be expected in the upcoming movie.
"Alec Baldwin (who plays the head of CIA) absorbs the IMF into the CIA, so Jeremy Renner and Simon Pegg are now working for the CIA. Ethan Hunt is out there somewhere; no one knows where he is. Baldwin wants to bring Ethan Hunt in to make him answer for all the previous things he's done in those movies. Alec perceives them as crimes and he's determined to bring him in. Unfortunately he can't find him!", said Mcquerrie.
"Mission: Impossible – Rogue-Nation" is scheduled to be released on July 31.
However, fans need not wait that long to get their M.I. fix. It was recently announced that come Tuesday, June 30, a 5-minute sneak peak of the film will be shown before every screening of "Terminator Genysis."
