Miami Heat trade rumors 2016: Knicks interested in Chris Bosh?

Despite the optimism the Miami Heat have for All-Star forward Chris Bosh next season, he remains a favorite in the trade rumor mill and is reportedly being targeted by New York Knicks president Phil Jackson.

A healthy Bosh is a major improvement for any team in the National Basketball Association (NBA). That may be the reason why Jackson is interested in trying to bring the 32-year-old forward to the Big Apple.

In Bosh's entire NBA career splitting time with the Toronto Raptors (2003–2010) and Miami Heat (2011 to present), he has averages of 19.2 points, 8.5 rebounds, two assists, and one block per game.

However, trading for Bosh will be a difficult and almost impossible task for the Knicks. In a report by The Inquisitr, some of the factors that could hinder a deal from happening were mentioned.

The first one is Bosh's health condition as he continues to deal with blood clots. The issue has plagued him for the past two seasons and it remains the major problem why Miami is uncertain if he can play in the 2016–17 season.

Last season, it seemed Bosh already overcame the illness but as their campaign progressed he was again bothered by it. This led to him being sidelined in February and never playing again since then.

The second factor is that the Knicks do not have the assets to trade for Bosh. In the report, it was written that because of their players' contracts and the salary cap, the only ones they can send to Miami in a possible swap are Carmelo Anthony and Derrick Rose.

As of the moment, there is no chance that the Knicks are dealing away either of the two. Anthony is their franchise superstar who is still in his prime, while Rose is someone they believe could help them significantly now and in the future.
