'Mass Effect: Andromeda' release rumors: Game's arrival moved to March next year

After it was suspected that "Mass Effect: Andromeda" would be released around the holidays this year, the latest in the rumor mill is that the highly anticipated game would now be out by early next year.
According to reports, the release date of "Mass Effect: Andromeda" has been inadvertently released by comic book publisher Dark Horse Comics, which posted that it would release "The Art of Mass Effect: Andromeda" book, along with the arrival of "Mass Effect: Andromeda" on March 21, 2017.
As the said publication has not rectified or taken down its post, many believe that Dark Horse's post is valid. In fact, some people suspect that the publication's purpose for the post is to relay the message that the game will not arrive on the expected date.
It has been learned that the studio behind the creation of "Mass Effect: Andromeda" and Dark Horse have a long-standing relationship, especially with "Mass Effect" because the comic book paved the way for the creation of the "Mass Effect" universe in the game.
While there are still those who remain skeptic about the post of Dark Horse, Bioware's EA CFO Blake Jorgensen has reportedly said in the past that there is a possibility for the game not to arrive within the year. And, from the looks of it, with Dark Horse's post, it seems that the game will be delayed, indeed.
Meanwhile, "Mass Effect: Andromeda" will be set in an open environment, and a player will take the role of a pathfinder whose responsibility will be to look for new planets where humans can live. Apart from the characters who are siblings, it is also said that the upcoming game will feature a character who will play a father to the siblings.
While the suspected delay of "Mass Effect: Andromeda" is no good news to the fans, nothing is conclusive at this point in time yet. As the game is having a "Mass Effect" event on Nov. 7, otherwise known as N7, fans can expect that an official announcement on the game's arrival date will be made there.
