A recent leak took place concerning the release date of "Mass Effect: Andromeda" as well as that of two other games.

Previously, BioWare and Electronic Arts' "Mass Effect: Andromeda" were subject to several leaks spilling its very top secret release date. Though fans knew it was coming sometime in March, developers were quiet on what exact date the game was bound to hit the shelves.

The most recent leak happened on the Xbox Live Rewards page. The page had reportedly indicated that "Mass Effect: Andromeda" was going to be released on March 31.

As expected, the page was corrected shortly after the accidental leak, but reports like Shack News were quick enough to copy a print screen of the leak. Now, the placeholder for "Mass Effect: Andromeda" on Xbox Live Rewards page has removed the March 31 release date and only says "Coming Soon."

Xbox Live Rewards page also put a release date for the DC Comics-themed "Injustice 2." As can be seen on the print screen, the page mentioned that "Injustice 2" would be released on March 28.

However, unlike in the case of "Mass Effect: Andromeda," developers of "Injustice 2" were quick on their feet to deny the supposed release date leak. The director of "Injustice 2," Ed Boon, clarified through a post via Twitter, "FYI: Injustice 2 is not coming out March 28."

Xbox Live has also replaced the supposed March 28 release date of "Injustice 2" with the "Coming Soon" phrase.

Another controversial part of the notorious Xbox Live Rewards page reveals that Ubisoft's "South Park: The Fractured but Whole" will be released on March 30.

Just like "Mass Effect: Andromeda" and "Injustice 2," the "South Park: The Fractured but Whole" is one of the upcoming games of 2017 without an announced exact release date before the leak. However, since the leak was spotted, Ubisoft has not issued a statement to either deny or confirm it. Interestingly enough, Xbox Live has not yet removed the March 31 release date from the page as of writing.

As for the latest news, BioWare and Electronic Arts have finally revealed "Mass Effect: Andromeda's" release date. The game will be released on March 21 in the U.S. and on March 23 in Europe.
