Apple is still keeping a quiet lip about the anticipated MacBook Pro 2017. Fans, however, continue to practice their patience and rely on the many rumors about what the next-generation laptop may feature.

One of the many reasons why MacBook Pro 2017 continues to have a huge following is Tim Cook's statement that they are preparing more updates for the Pro lines. In a report by Mac Rumors, the company CEO acknowledged the fact that the Pro lines are important to the company.

"Don't think something we've done or something that we're doing that isn't visible yet is a signal that our priorities are elsewhere," he said.

Cook did not specify anything with his statement, but the fact that they are lining up something special for the device has somehow caused the fans to be relieved.

However, according to popular analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple may improve the performance of MacBook Pro 2017 significantly by installing it with the new Kaby Lake chip. The RAM and the built-in memory may also be given a boost.

The current model is carrying Skylake processor, which is already capable of delivering fast performance. The Kaby Lake processor of Pro 2017, if the rumor is assumed true, will make the Skylake chip be underpowered, according to Inquisitr.

There are tech analysts who think that MacBook Pro 2017 will be equipped with AMD Ryzen chip. The newly released flagship processor has been impressing the industry with its fast performance, and it is currently being compared to Kaby Lake.

As for the RAM, it is believed that the next-generation MacBook Pro will have 32GB of RAM. The current model is only capable of carrying 16GB of RAM due to the limitation of the Skylake chip. Although this is reasonable for basic activities, those who need complex computing processes may not find the laptop ideal for their workload.

The world still waits for what Apple has to say.
