'Longmire' season 5 spoilers: New season to pick up where season 4 left off; Dr. Monaghan is a secret villain?
"Longmire" fans may need to wait a bit longer for the premiere of the Netflix series' fifth season, but the latest update indicated that the cast will start filming next week.
The news was confirmed by "Longmire" actor, Lou Diamond Phillips, who plays Henry Standing Bear, in a post on Twitter.
With the confirmed date of filming, several reports suggest that it's likely the series will premiere sometime in September, the same month that season 4 premiered.
Meanwhile, details about the storyline for season 5 remain scarce, but it is believed that the story will pick up where season 4 left off, when Walt (Robert Taylor) was having a romantic moment with Dr. Monaghan (Ally Walker) and someone had to break into his home to ruin it.

Season 5 is also expected to reveal who the suspect is. Although the streaming service or show producers haven't given a hint about the suspect's identity, there's a good list of characters that could be involved, especially given that Walt had made several enemies being the Sheriff, according to CarterMatt.
Walker Browning (Callum Keith Rennie) is considered as the top suspect for the break-in. He was no longer in his hospital bed and it was Walt who sabotaged his operation, which gives him motive to go after him.
Jacob Nighthorse (A. Martinez) could also be one of the suspects since he and Walt are the ultimate enemies. However, even though Jacob dislikes Walt a lot, it wouldn't do him any good to get rid of the Sheriff.
Surprisingly, Dr. Monaghan was also included in the list. According to reports, she could be working for Walker, since it would be impossible for Walker to immediately know where Walt is.
The suspect list can still go on considering Walt has many enemies, but fans will just have to stick around to get more updates about the crime drama series.
