The Legend of Korra Season 3 premiere date is set for July 1, 2014 with leaked pictures and trailer coming out. Among the characters shown in the pictures are Lin Beifong and Jinora in combat or meditation. The pictures were released on the Tumblr account of Legend of Korra's show runner, Bryan Konietzko.

Konietzko said, though occupied, they had finished the second art book even with the ongoing production. Excited to print and release the second art book, Konietzko is showing meditative and peaceful pictures of Jinora from Book 3. Konietzko said he loves the organic and delicate paint works of Studio Mir.

Rumors suggest Nickelodeon will attend the Comic-Con in San Diego this July, and some speculate it will promote Legend of Korra.

At the end of Book 2, there is an implication of a new era and Book 3 will be Korra dealing with the world's change, showing how Harmonic Convergence and the fight with Vaatu and Unalaq shifted the world a little.

Others believe an important and famous character will die in Season 3.

While "Change," the title of Season 3 or Book 3, refers to Avatar transformations and will be released this summer, Book 2 entitled "Spirits", with 14 episodes plus two clips from behind the scenes by IGN, will land on DVD and Blu-ray on July 1.

The Blu-ray exclusive of Book 2 features audio commentaries, BTS animation and a peek of how the show was created, just like retelling Korra's journey as well as that of the "kindred spirits." Meanwhile, the DVD version also contains commentaries and kindred spirits, and will be available in Canada on August 5.
