Game developer and publisher Square Enix still has not revealed the official release date of the upcoming video game "Kingdom Hearts 3." However, they have disclosed a few substantial details of the title during the recent Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3).

The most notable revelation during the E3 by Square Enix is that "Kingdom Hearts 3" is the final installment of the video game series.

According to GameSpot, co-director Tai Yasue said, "We're not adding any Final Fantasy worlds. A lot of the original [to Kingdom Hearts] worlds [Hollow Bastion, Traverse Town, e.t.c.] had Final Fantasy characters in them. At this moment, we are not really coming up with any plans for that, we're making original worlds and Disney worlds."

The "Kingdom Hearts" game is known for travelling other worlds that come from popular Disney franchises and the worlds in the "Final Fantasy" series. It has covered the most popular titles like "The Little Mermaid" and "Pirates of the Caribbean." However, the upcoming final installment will just be limited to the original Kingdom Hearts world and Disney. It will no longer include exploration in the realm of "Final Fantasy."

Fans are excited for the new Disney worlds that "Kingdom Hearts 3" will be introducing. According to reports, the upcoming final title may include Disney's most recent hits — "Frozen," "Tangled," and "Big Hero 6."

Although Square Enix did not reveal anything about the gameplay for the upcoming title at E3, the game's director, Tetsuya Nomura, revealed three years ago that it will be more action-packed.

In Nomura's interview with Famitsu magazine, he said, "'Kingdom Hearts 3' has three-person parties, but NPCs and other characters join the fight in each individual world, and the resulting action is really flash and exciting." He added that the gameplay will reflect on the new balance they will be applying with enemy AI.
