It's been a year since Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck announced they were getting a divorce but the couple is still faced with rumors of reconciliation.

Fans of the "Daredevil" actors have always rooted for the couple and hoped that the two would patch things up. Despite the pair being spotted together several times and their more recent European getaway with the kids, the celebrity couple is not getting back together.

According to one of Garner's friends, the "Miracles from Heaven" actress and "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" actor are going through with their divorce. "She seems adamant about going through with it," the source told People magazine earlier this month.

It remains to be seen when the divorce will be finalized. The source mentioned that there's no rush and it doesn't seem to bother Garner if things are not finalized yet. Fans speculate, however, that there might be a change of heart for the couple, especially after Affleck did a recent interview and referenced Garner as his wife.

Affleck made an appearance on "Any Given Wednesday with Bill Simmons" on HBO and revealed that Jennifer, whom he referred to as his wife instead of using her first name, helped him save his career.

"My wife was really instrumental and helpful in me doing a lot of that work because I was just so focused and it was harder to balance family and all that," the actor said. It was clear that Affleck was sincere about how he described Garner's support for him in his career.

Affleck had directed "The Town" and "Argo" after things ended with his ex, Jennifer Lopez.

With the 43-year-old actor calling Garner his wife, fans can't help but speculate that the two are back together. However, there is no confirmation from the couple that they have reunited.

Despite their divorce, Affleck and Garner continue to live together with their children. The two have committed to always put them first.
