Rafael (Justin Baldoni) will not be able to stop himself from comparing Petra's (Yael Grobglas) mothering skills with Jane's (Gina Rodriguez) in the upcoming episode of the hit series "Jane the Virgin."

In "Chapter Thirty-Seven," TV Guide reports that after giving birth to the twins, the new mother is ready to get back to work. Rafael, meanwhile, is worried about her seeming indifference to the girls. Unlike Jane, who is very much hands-on when it comes to Mateo's care, Petra is a lot different. She is an independent career woman and being a mother will not change that.

Executive producer Jennie Snyder Urman shared with TV Line that Petra would really find it difficult to cope with the changes in her life. Being a mother to twins is no joke, especially as she just reconciled with an erring husband. Just like their opposite personalities, she and Jane are different in their view of motherhood. Urman shared that it would take a while for Petra to get the hang of it, but she would get there in the end.

"Same as she had a much more difficult pregnancy, much more difficult birth [than Jane], she's going to have a much more difficult initial dive into motherhood. And Petra's version of what a mom looks like is different than Jane's. She also has to reconcile that, and that's OK," the executive producer shared.

Meanwhile, the promo for the upcoming episode shows Jane and Michael (Brett Dier) facing an unexpected hurdle in their engagement. His parents are coming and they are excited to get their blessing. Unfortunately for the couple, they will not be getting any love from the Corderos. Apparently, Michael's parents are still sore with Jane for leaving their son in the past.
