Actor Idris Elba confirmed that he will reprise his role as Heimdall, the loyal Asgardian-warrior who guards Asgard in Thor's universe in the anticipated sequel of 'The Avengers: Age of Ultron.'

"I'm in Avengers," said Elba in an interview with Telegraph.

But 'The Wire' actor is not the only non-superhero coming back for this installment of the Avengers franchise. Tom Hiddleston, who rose to superstardom for playing the role of Loki in 'Thor' and 'The Avengers,' will also grace the big screen again as the vexing but lovable villain.

In an interview with Telegraph, Elba revealed that he has already completed filming scenes with Tom Hiddleston and Chris Hemsworth in the next Avengers movie.

"And I'm doing a scene with Chris Hemsworth [Thor] and Tom Hiddleston [Loki], and they're like, [whispers] – 'Aren't you [meant to be] in Ibiza?" the actor continued.

Elba is a resident DJ at a famous club in Ibiza, Spain, the party capital of Europe. Fortunately, the actor managed to squeeze in some filming time for the Avengers sequel.

In the same interview, Elba disclosed that he is currently working on a sequel to Thor.

Elba had to do "reshoots" just a day after working on his big project portraying Nelson Mandela in 'Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom.' Elba described his experience as "torture."

"[On the Thor 2 set,] I was like, 'This is torture, man. I don't want to do this.' My agent said: 'You have to, it's part of the deal," revealed Elba.
