Haven is taking a break for the holidays, and some mid-season finale spoilers have been revealed and the sleepy town gets creepier than ever.

Friday's episode of Haven will pick up where it left off last week, with the revelation about Dr. Cross being Audrey and the mother of Mara. The last episode also saw how Dwight fell in love with Dr. Cross, but since Dr. Cross is not who she says she is, Dwight might have second thoughts about his feelings for her and things could get ugly between them.

TVLine released some information on what could go down in the mid-season finale, and it says that Mara and Audrey will have a face to face on a "highly entertaining exchange of words." These two characters are vital in figuring out what's good for the entirety of Haven, despite all the troubles that they have to sift through just to find a common ground.

A sneak peek of the episode has been released, and it shows Duke sitting with a drink in hand and pensively staring out at a body of water as an unsatisfied customer comes up to him. The customer complains about the White Russian and the poor quality Kahlua used to make it.

Since Duke is in a bad mood, Duke asked the customer to shut up and sends the customer away. Then, black, murky tears fall out of Duke's eyes and into the woman, suggesting that Duke is sending her his Trouble. The woman then destroys everything she lays her hand on, including the love of her life. The man is reduced to a blood spill, obviously dead, after just grabbing her arm.

The next episode is called "Chosen," and it will also show how Nathan and Audrey try to stop Mara's devilish plans. The promo shows Dr. Cross advising Audrey that she has to go back to Mara, but the meeting gets physical and out of control.
