Rumors concerning the location of "Grand Theft Auto VI" are running wild. With the success of the fifth installment in the game series, fans are now turning their heads toward any news about the next "GTA" game. And based on these rumors, it looks like the upcoming game will be set in London.

According to reports, "Grand Theft Auto VI" will see the English city as the new location. Additionally, there is also belief that the sequel will include a world map feature, letting players travel the globe freely.

Although Rockstar Games has not confirmed a sequel to be in the making, including a world map will make the game quite distinct. It is ambitious enough to make the gaming industry abuzz, but there is also the question of how the studio will be able to pull it off. If the rumor turns out to be true, the large scale of the game will understandably take more time than usual to produce.

Other speculations claim that "Grand Theft Auto VI" will stay within American lines and will not stray too far. It is believed that the sequel will take place in San Diego. The idea of an international location certainly sounds exciting, but remaining within the United States will be a much easier task.

As for the game's release date, despite the game's existence still up in the air, it is expected that "Grand Theft Auto VI" will come out sometime in 2018. It has been pointed out that it normally takes five years for Rockstar Games to produce another "Grand Theft Auto" sequel, hence, 2018 seems like a good prediction. However, there are others who say that it won't come out until 2020.

It remains to be seen if any of these speculations is true. One thing is for sure, though — if "Grand Theft Auto VI" ends up being set in London, players will have to steer from the right-hand side of vehicles.
