"Girl Meets World" season 3 will soon be playing host to a wedding and a reunion of beloved "Boy Meets World" characters.

Maya (Sabrina Carpenter), Riley (Rowan Blanchard), and their friends are having a challenging year so far. Not only are they now in high school, but they're also wading into more serious stuff, like having your own identities and starting new relationships.

The previous episode saw the love triangle between Maya, Riley, and Lucas (Peyton Meyer) finally resolved. In the two-part episode, which saw the group spending a few days at Mount Sun Lodge, Maya suddenly realized the extent of her feelings for Josh and prompted Lucas to confess his feelings to Riley.

But Maya is in for another emotional tailspin in episode 10 due to some concerns she has over her mother's upcoming wedding to Shawn.

A trailer for the upcoming episode, "Girl Meets I Do," starts with the announcement that Maya's mom, Katy (Cheryl Texiera), and Shawn (Rider Strong) are getting hitched. As the couple are shown walking down the aisle, a surprise guest is introduced — Mr. Feeny (William Daniels). Maya, Riley, and Topanga (Danielle Fishel) appear to be the bridesmaids, with Mr. Feeny officiating the ceremony. But the clip ends with Maya apparently stopping the wedding. Is she really against her mom and Shawn taking the next step in their relationship?

It's unlikely that Maya will really stop the wedding. In all likelihood, she probably just wants something to say to the couple. Or maybe Shawn and Katy will give her some much-needed assurances about becoming a family.

One thing that has fans excited is the expected arrival of several "Boy Meets World" cast members. While there's no confirmation yet, there are undoubtedly fans who are hoping it's for the wedding. A tweet from the show's writers certainly ups the hype level as fans of the original show can see Mr. Feeny, Mr. Turner (Anthony Quinn), Eric (Will Friedle), Alan (William Russ), Amy (Betsy Randle), Minkus (Lee Norris), Harley (Danny McNulty), and Morgan, Cory's younger sister. Interestingly, both Lily Nicksay and Lindsay Ridgeway, the two actresses who played Morgan, are shown.

Mr. Feeny officiating Shawn's wedding is a very welcome touch as the teacher had been very influential in both his and Cory's life.

This extravaganza of guests was probably what set off rumors stating that season 3 might be the show's final season. But a representative for the Disney Channel clarified to TV Line that "there's no news to share yet about a fourth season," which makes sense since the show reportedly will be airing episodes until 2017.

"Girl Meets World" season 3 episode 10 will be aired on the Disney Channel on Aug. 12.
