Cliff Bleszinski, the creator of the popular third-person shooter franchise, "Gears of War," has recently teased the fans about what's to come in the upcoming installment "Gears of War 4," which is expected to come out sometime this 2016.

"Just got off the phone with a friend who is doing some writing on the next 'Gears' game. Sounds like we will all be very pleased with it," the franchise creator said on his Twitter post last weekend. Unfortunately, he was not very specific with the name of the writer but according to GameSpot, the person he talked to was probably Tom Bissell, the writer of the series.

Furthermore, it appears like Bleszinski was not asked for any kind of input on this upcoming installment. He then later on stated that he is still "available" if the company needs him to provide some sort of feedback, and continued to note on his Twitter post, "Although I think Rod kinda wants to 'own' it as the new visionary."

Sadly, Bleszinski was not very specific at the things the fans can expect in "Gears of War 4" or even when the game will get released in the Xbox One console, since it is being published by Microsoft Studios.

However, GameSpot reports that the game will most likely come out to the market sometime this fall 2016 and the Beta for the IP is expected to be held in spring. The source has added that people who already bought the "Gears of War Ultimate Edition" will get to receive the fourth installment first, while others who didn't will have to wait for the full launch of the IP.

Since there is still no word on the specific date, it would be ideal for fans to keep an eye out for further announcements coming from The Coalition or even from Microsoft Studios.
