Each of the stars of hit HBO Series 'Game of Thrones' will be receiving a whopping $300,000 per episode beginning the sixth season.

According to reports, salaries of the actors are being determined depending on how big their roles are.

The show's lead actors such as Peter Dinklage, Kit Harrington, and Lena Heady are said to be in the "A-Tier" and will likely enjoy the 300K per episode compensation.

Rumors mills have it that the cast members negotiated their new salaries as a unit, and the approval could make them the highest paid actors on television at the moment.

All of the actors are committed to be on the cast up to the seventh season of the critically acclaimed series, though their appearances depend on the longevity of their characters' lives. And in the world of George R.R. Martin, killing the most important characters could come in anytime.

Requests for drastic salary increases, especially for television programs that are doing well commercially, is no new issue for networks and producers.

The stars of the mega-hit sitcom 'Friends' demanded a $1 million per episode-deal for each during the final season of the show.

The production of the latest season of 'The Big Bang Theory' was delayed due to salary negotiation, which was initiated by Johnny Galecki, Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting and Jim Parsons, who also wanted a $1 million per episode.
