Galaxy Edge tablet: more about the rumored device to be revealed at Galaxy Unpacked

All eyes are on the South Korean manufacturer, Samsung, as its Galaxy Unpacked event on Aug. 13 is due to reveal three devices, one of which, is what many think is the new Galaxy Edge tablet. The latest news about the event appeared in the form of a teaser photo which displayed three devices shrouded in shadow.
The teaser photo, which was spotted on Samsung's website, took everyone by surprise as many had expected only two devices to launch at the Galaxy Unpacked event. These two, as have been rumored for months, are the Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus.
In the teaser image, the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, which many expect to be a phablet-sized version of the Galaxy S6 Edge, is seen first and it lies on top of the Galaxy Note 5. The Galaxy Note 5 has its pen displayed prominently as it is not within the slot of the device but is instead popped out. The device under the two devices is much larger, which many, including the website, Sammobile, think is a new Galaxy Edge tablet.
There has been no indication that any such tablet is being created by Samsung and more importantly, no design or specs have been leaked. Comparatively, there have been a huge amount of leaks about the upcoming Note 5 and S6 Edge Plus and almost all details about their design and hardware are known.
With a new tablet set to be released, it appears that Samsung wants to provide customers an additional option outside its Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 line, which was recently updated with a 9.7 inch and 8 inch version. However, with the demand for premium tablets like those in the S2 line cooling rapidly, Samsung could be bringing out a unique tablet with curved edges. This was also hinted at in the teaser where Samsung noted that it wanted to make "big even better."
