"Frozen 2" has been in the rumor mill and surrounded with speculation and plot theories ever since the sequel project was first announced in 2015. Details about the hit Disney animated series have been kept under wraps, until recently when actress Kristen Bell, who voiced Anna, spoke about the movie's production.

Bell gave some fresh updates on the development of "Frozen 2" during an interview with Collider for her new movie alongside Melissa McCarthy, "The Boss." When asked if she's back in the studio to record her lines, the 35-year-old actress said, "Not yet."

Bell further explained that the production team is about to record the lines. "They've just written it and they're still doing tweaks, but I think we should be recording this month," she revealed to the publication.

Fans have long been waiting to hear updates about the movie. Now, Bell says that "Frozen 2" has a great story that "exude quality." With the actress' statement, it's clear that "Frozen 2" is definitely on the way, but Disney took time with the production since they only want to ascertain that the sequel has a story that surpasses the original movie.

"It took them a while because they wanted to figure out what story they needed to tell and what would be important and engaging and I think they found it," Bell said.

"Frozen" was a popular movie due to its engaging and unique storyline, which provided a new insight to Disney princesses – that true love doesn't always come from "Prince Charming." The story also depicted the love and bond between two sisters and how this connection is much more powerful than a romantic relationship. The movie's soundtrack also contributed to its success. As most people can remember, "Frozen's" song, "Let It Go," has been the household tune ever since the movie came out.

Stay tuned for more updates on "Frozen 2."
