Details about the upcoming game in the Forza gaming franchise "Forza Motorsport 6" were recently revealed before time on the Japanese Xbox site. This inadvertent leak led to fans of the racing franchise picking apart screen shots for information even after the main website was taken down.

The Japanese website revealed a few tantalizing details about "Forza Motorsport 6." One of the biggest features that has gotten fans excited is that the game would have about 450 cars, which would easily make it the game with the biggest amount of cars. Players can enjoy customizing the cars and experience fully operational cockpits.

As for the locations, the new game will be featuring 26 new locations, which include world-famous sites, such as the ones in Daytona.

The game, according to the details listed on the now deleted Japanese website for "Forza Motorsport 6" will have a resolution of 1080p and a rate of "60 fps," just like with Forza 5. It will also allow up to 24 players to participate in races and the online multiplayer mode will be able to support split screens for two players--a feature which was not included in the franchise's previous games, released on the Xbox One.

The racing simulator was announced in January of this year. It focused on the Ford GT, which has been scheduled to be released in 2016, which means "Forza Motorsport 6" will be featuring a car that has not been manufactured.

Developed by Turn 10, the game will be released exclusively to Xbox One, making it the third game from the series to be release on the console. As for the screenshots, which were posted on the website before they were taken down, they showed that the game will include rain effects such as 3D puddles and wet weather, as well as late night driving.

"Forza Motorsport 6" will be released in time for the holidays this year. More details about the game is expected to be announced during Microsoft's annual E3 press conference which will take place on June 15.
