Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling welcome baby girl, pregnancy escaped media notice
According to reports, Eva Mendes has given birth to a healthy baby girl with Ryan Gosling.
The 40-year-old actress shrugged off pregnancy rumors back in February, when Mendes reportedly opted to be hand-checked at the airport instead of going through a body scan.
"It's so ridiculous," Mendes commented on the pregnancy rumors, when confronted by talk show host Ellen DeGeneres.
"It all started because I didn't want to go through the scanners at the airport. You know those X-ray scanners, which are really creepy? They basically see you naked, right? And not only that, but there's a radiation aspect to it, so I always opt out," the actress continued.
It turns out that the pregnancy is true. A source who constantly sees the couple reveals that Mendes' lifestyle has drastically changed over the last few months.
"Their lives completely changed as soon as Eva got pregnant... They used to travel all over the place together and go on hikes with their dogs. [But in the past few months] she barely left the house," a source told magazine People.
Mendes and Gosling have always been open to starting a family, with the actor previously commenting that he will stop making movies once a baby comes along.
"I'd like to be making babies but I'm not, so I'm making movies," the actor said in an interview with The Times.
"When someone comes along, I don't think I'll be able to do both and I'm fine with that. I'll make movies until I make babies," the actor added.
