Despite the excitement, Eminem fans are still left in limbo as far as the rapper's next album is concerned as the release date for which is still up in the air.

According to reports, there can be a lot of reasons for the delay, one of which is the rapper's tight schedule. Reportedly, Eminem is currently working on the soundtracks for several films, and one of which is for the highly anticipated DC and Warner Bros. movie showing next month, "Suicide Squad."

However, it is also suspected that the reason for the delay of the rapper's ninth album is his latest business venture, a partnership with Stock X, which, just like the rapper, is also Detroit-based. According to a report of CBS Detroit, Stock X has partnered with Eminem, a.k.a. Marshall Mathers, in its attempt to provide exclusive content and access to Eminem's rare sneakers collection.

The said report claims that Eminem's longtime manager Paul Rosenberg will be investing in the online trading store as well.

"Sneakers have always been a huge interest of mine, for at least as long as I've been rapping, and I'm proud of the fact that I've had so many collaborations with Nike and Jordan Brand. I really like the fact that sneakers are a big part of what StockX is doing. When I found out that they happen to be doing it from downtown Detroit, it made even more sense to get involved," according to Eminem as reported by CBS Detroit.

However, if the report of SnatchedBops on its Twitter account is to be believed, the rapper may just delight its fans with the release of his next album, allegedly, this coming September. If this turns out to be true, then fans of the rapper can be treated not just to the rapping skills of Eminem but to the other vocal styling of those he collaborated with in the album.

Reportedly, Ariana Grande, Dr. Dre, Skylar Grey, and Nicki Minaj are part of the album.

However, with no official confirmation from Eminem's camp, everything is just a rumor at this point in time and must be taken with a grain of salt.
