The "Future Trunks" story arc continues as the Z warriors, especially Son Goku, will be fighting the biggest challenge of their lives yet. Son Goku will face his evil doppelganger Goku Black in "Dragon Ball Super's" 50th episode dubbed as "Goku vs Goku Black! A Path to the Sealed Future!"

The previous episodes were action-packed with Future Trunks managing to escape his world to go back to Goku's timeline to warn them of an impending threat far worse than the androids. However, with the help of the so-called time ring which can only be worn by divine beings known as Kais, Goku Black was able to follow Future Trunks and immediately wrecked havoc upon his arrival.

Moreover, the preview for episode 50 shows Goku will finally meet Goku Black to stop him from annihilating the planet, and this will be aired in Japan on July 3 via Fuji TV.

Meanwhile, fans of the show have noticed some notable features on Goku Black's appearance. As reported earlier, the ring that he dons that enabled him to travel through time caught most of the fans' attention. Avid followers of the anime franchise said that this time ring that Goku Black wears can only be worn by Supreme Kais, causing fans to speculate that he is not a Saiyan. Another theory that strengthens that speculation is that in the succeeding episodes, Goku will eventually be beaten and killed by Goku Black, and before finishing off Goku, he says that Goku's death is miserable considering his race is one of the most feared across the universe.

In addition, other features of Goku Black's are featured and the earring that he wears has also intrigued the fans.

Episode 50 promises to be an epic battle as reports suggest that this showdown between the look-alikes will show Goku Black is just playing around with Goku while the latter is already pouring it all out in the battle.
