'Dragon Ball Super' episode 50 spoilers: Trailer teases Black Goku has the upper hand
Every "Dragon Ball" fan is pumped up over the upcoming match between Goku and Black Goku. But the revelation of the titles for the next few episodes of "Dragon Ball Super" tells that the powerful villain from the future will be staying for a while.
Episode 50 of "Dragon Ball Super" will see the battle between Goku and Black Goku commence. Fans will recall that in the previous episode, Future Trunks revealed that he barely escaped from a powerful fighter called Black Goku. While the other fighters were skeptical about Black's power, they will soon discover that the young man was telling the truth when the mysterious fighter arrives in the present timeline.
A trailer for the upcoming episode, titled "Goku vs. Goku Black! The Path to the Sealed Future," focuses mainly on the two similar looking fighters. However, the clip ends with Goku being slammed into the mountain by the seemingly more powerful Black.
Of course, fans know that Goku will undeniably bounce back. After all, the Saiyan has not ascended to his Super Saiyan Blue form yet. Plus, Goku often starts his fights by gauging his opponent's power level first so he might be hiding his true force. Unfortunately, it's also possible that Black is also hiding the extent of his powers. If that's the case, Goku might be in for a long and hard fight.
While Goku is the one facing off against Black in episode 50, fans are expecting the other fighters, most notably Vegeta, Future Trunks, and Gohan, to also battle Black. There are even speculations that Goku might fall, pushing the usually placid Gohan to reveal his true power. Meanwhile, one image posted by a fan has had viewers theorizing that Future Trunks will determine how the fight between Goku and his doppelganger will end.
The titles for episodes 51–53 have already been revealed and they more or less hint at the progression of this particular story arc. Episode 51 is "Mai's Feelings Across Time," while episode 52 is "Gohan and Future Trunks." They will be aired on July 10 and July 17, respectively. There will be a short break between episodes on July 24 and will resume on July 31 with episode 53, "Revealed! Black's True Identity."
"Dragon Ball Super" episode 50 is set to be aired on Fuji TV on July 3 at 9 a.m.
