"Deadwood" fans could see a possible actress coming back to reprise her role even if the revival has not been officially confirmed.

According to TVLine, Kim Dickens, who played Joanie Stubbs on the show, stated that she is all for coming back for the revival, saying on the Emmy carpet, "I think it's long overdue, let's do it. We all want to do it."

Dickens got her jump at acting by playing Stubbs on the show, now the actress plays Madison Clark, on the spin-off show, "Fear the Walking Dead."

Last month, fans of the beloved show got good news as HBO, the network behind the popular show, said that they are in talks of bringing back the show as a movie. Variety previously reported that a spokeperson for the network confirmed the "preliminary talks" about a possible movie.

Garret Dillahunt has also expressed his desire to resurrect the cancelled show. He tweeted, "So uh....I'm hearing credible rumors about a #Deadwood movie. #Everybodypray."

He further urged the network to greenlight "Deadwood," explaining how fans of the show need a resolve for all the plot points left completely open.

"Come on @HBO...you made @entouragemovie. Give the #Deadwood fans some closure. #Youcandoit."

There has been a lot of talks when it comes to reviving the show. Since the show's cancellation in 2006, there have been talks of a "Deadwood" movie dating far back as 2008. In 2011, creator, David Milch, was also given a chance to revive the show with a fourth season, but turned it down. But fans shouldn't lose all hope since Milch stated that there is still room for "Deadwood" to make a comeback.

HBO indeed has a way with comebacks. The network has been riding off of the successful "Sex in the City" and "Entourage" movie revivals, so there is still hope for a "Deadwood" film.

HBO has yet to confirm or deny news about a "Deadwood" movie.
