On the next episode of "DC's Legends of Tomorrow," the team of heroes will head into the future to continue their quest against Savage.

After team members Sara, Ray, and Kendra were left two years in the past, the Legends have set a path in the future to stop a leader from claiming his seat. In the episode synopsis shared by Comic Book, "Progeny" will see the team's morality in question as they deal with a 14-year-old boy who will someday become an evil dictator. The boy played by guest star Cory Gruter Andrew is set to become an ally to the immortal Savage.

In the trailer, the Waverider sets its course to 2147 where Rip tells the team of the future of one boy who Jackson describes to be "like a baby Hitler." Then while the team appears to be looking for ways to stop the inevitable from happening, a voice says, "This isn't about killing him, it's about saving him."

Their plan to appeal to the boy's good side could be connected with how they plan get Rory back to the team. They have recently discovered that he is the man behind "Chronus," a time warrior who has been on their tracks since the season began. While he appears to be mad at the team, especially at Snart who he felt betrayed him the most, many of them still believe that they will be able to successfully reach out to him and remind him of their fight for the greater good.

"DC's Legends of Tomorrow" has filmed most of the episodes left and has released a trailer called "A Look Ahead," which shows the team's next adventures. In the recently held WonderCon, Tv Equals also reported that many great guests are in the lineup for season 2.
