'Daredevil' season 2 spoilers: next season of Marvel series focuses on 'Daredevil vs. The Punisher'

Frank Castle aka "The Punisher" may become Daredevil's major antagonist in the second season of "Daredevil" or at least maybe cause a major conflict.
According to the Nerdist, in the season 2 of the Netflix show, fans really have to look forward to what newly appointed co-showrunner Marco Ramirez calls, "Daredevil vs. The Punisher," as Frank Castle (played by Jon Bernthal of "The Walking Dead") is going to make Matt Murdock's vigilante life a little bit complicated.
The Punisher is not really a bad guy, it is just that he has a different approach when dealing with criminals -- a more lethal approach perhaps. Daredevil, on the other hand, apprehends the criminals and deals with them legally by turning them into the authorities -- just like what he did to the Kingpin in the season one finale of the show.
Because of their differences, The Punisher is expected to cause some major conflicts. However, it is highly unlikely that he will be the only villain that will appear in season two. Aside from The Punisher, Nerdist also reported that Bullseye and Elektra will be making an appearance.
Rope of Silicon speculates that Frank and Daredevil will fight at first but will eventually settle everything and choose to face their common enemy instead, which apparently, is going to be Bullseye. To add more motive as to why they might need to team up, Nerdist says that Matt Murdock and Elektra are likely to fall in love with each other and Daredevil will get to see her get killed by Bullseye -- prompting an alliance between The Punisher and Daredevil. Of course, the person behind the assassination, in this theory, is none other than Kingpin.
"Daredevil" is set to return on Netflix next year, 2016, as reported on when-will. The specific date of the premiere has yet to be announced.
