'Dancing With The Stars' season 21 cast news, rumors: can Caitlyn Jenner and Rob Kardashian revive show's sinking ratings?

Despite the show's ratings continuing to sink, ABC's "Dancing With The Stars" will return for a 21st season and who could be a better person to boost the show's ratings than the newly transformed Caitlyn Jenner. Previously known as Bruce Jenner, the former Olympic champion shocked the world after coming out as a trans woman in April this year.
Following Jenner's spread on Vanity Fair, it is rumored that ABC is now in the process of recruiting Jenner for the show's 21st season. According to the Gospel Herald, the 65-year-old Jenner's interview with Diane Sawyer attracted 18 million viewers, and his follow-up special on E! was seen by roughly three million people, making ABC aware of Jenner's potential to draw significant ratings for the upcoming season of "Dancing With The Stars".
"Dancing With The Stars" pro dancer Tony Dovolani has said that the network is seriously considering featuring Caitlyn Jenner on the show. "Why not? We're groundbreaking people," said Dovolani in an interview on the Wendy Williams Show. "I think she is going to inspire a lot of people out there." In a previous season, "Dancing With The Stars" had featured transgender Chaz Bono.
It had been previously reported that Jenner's son-in-law, Rob Kardashian had been given an open invitation to re-join the show, after being crowned as the runner-up in season 13. A source close to the Kardashians had stated that the happiest that anyone had ever seen Rob was when he was dancing every day. However, the 28-year-old Kardashian needs to lose some weight in order to compete at a high level in the competition. "Rob hasn't ruled it out," the source said. The network has also offered to ask Rumer Willis and Charlotte McKinney to work with him in the next season.
Other celebrities also rumored to compete in "Dancing With The Stars" season 21 are Amanda Bynes, Amber Rose, Steve Ballmer, Jalen Rose, Jamie Chung, Demi Moore, Rumer Willis, and Marilu Henner.
