Fans of Chloe Lukasiak will be disappointed to find out that the dancer won't be returning to "Dance Moms" season 7.

Lukasiak left the Lifetime reality series in season 4 and rumors started spreading widely that the seventh season may see the return of the dancer. The rumor first received attention when Lukasiak hinted at a big project coming her way on her Instagram page. She teased that the project had something to do with her passion, dancing, which led fans to believe that she would return to "Dance Moms."

Numerous reports claimed that Lukasiak's return might have something to do with another dancer's departure—Maddie Ziegler. The two are known for their friendly competition against each other, and with Ziegler out of the picture, it definitely made sense that Lukasiak would come back.

However, Lukasiak eventually revealed that her big project is actually a free online dance class in the form of a web series starring herself, putting an end to the rumor that she'd replace Ziegler on the reality show.

Ziegler has achieved a lot since her stint on "Dance Moms" and the Abby Lee Dance Company (ALDC). She has danced in a handful of singer Sia's music videos and has recently wrapped filming for Colin Trevorrow's "The Book of Henry." Lukasiak, on the other hand, will star in a TV movie titled "Cowgirl's Story."

The two dancers are undoubtedly moving on to pursue more opportunities outside of the Lifetime reality series and ALDC. Both girls are even vying for a nomination in the upcoming Teen Choice Awards under the category of "Choice Dancer." Since both of them have an army of fans at their disposal, it wouldn't be surprising if they both get nominated.

Now that Ziegler won't be on the new season of "Dance Moms," other dancers will have a chance to strut their stuff and potentially follow in their footsteps.
