One of the most important villains in the "Civil War" comic arc from Marvel is Crossbones. It has been confirmed, for a couple of months now, that Frank Grillo is set to come back to play the titular villain in the upcoming film. And fortunately for fans, the actor has finally dropped a few hints about his character in "Captain America: Civil War."

In an interview with Collider, Grillo (who plays Crossbones in the Marvel film and Sergeant in the "Purge 3" movie), shared some details about what it is like on set. He told Collider that the experience was totally spectacular.

"It's just what you would imagine it to be. That's what we are. Me and [Chris] Evans were doing this scene for days, where we were supposed to be in a certain part of the world and they recreated that world," he said.

Grillo continued, "There were hundreds of extras, and there we were in the center of it. [Robert] Downey wanted to come down and watch us do the scene. So, at one point, I turn around and Downey is there and [Jeremy] Renner was there and Paul Rudd had just come down, and they were all watching us do our thing. I was like, 'Wow, this is special! This is really cool!'"

Unfortunately, as for Brock Rumlow's past, Grillo confirmed through Collider that fans would not be able to see much of what happened to Crossbones in his early days.

"Captain America: Civil War" is scheduled to be released in cinemas on May 6, 2016. It will stand as the kick-off movie for the Marvel Cinematic Universe phase 3 and will star many famous actors as well as popular characters in the comicbook arc of the same title.

Grillo has not only reprised his role as Crossbones in "Captain America: Civil War" but he has also signed on to the third installment in the "Purge" series as Sergeant.
