Hodgins (T.J. Thyne) will make it up to wife Angela (Michaela Conlin) in the upcoming season of "Bones." After putting her through a lot, it is time for him to make amends and save their marriage.

Last installment was particularly difficult for the couple as Hodgins became paralyzed from the waist down following an explosion. He had to use a wheelchair to move around. Because of his condition, he became depressed. He soon took out his frustrations on Angela and they fought a lot.

Thyne recently told TV Line that he is confident that things would work out right for the couple in the end. Season 12 will be the last for the FOX series. This means Hodgins and Angela will eventually settle their differences and have their happy ending.

Meanwhile, fans are worried about Brennan's (Emily Deschanel) fate coming into the new season. She was kidnapped by Zack Addy (Eric Millegan), her former intern, while investigating a case involving The Puppeteer. Zack has been supposedly getting treatment in a psychological facility for the past eight years. How he got out and found Brennan remains a mystery. Speculations claim he may be the serial killer that the Jeffersonian team has been hunting. With Brennan in the hands of a dangerous man, Booth (David Boreanaz) cannot help but worry about his wife.

Loyal fans of the show can remember Zack as the brilliant intern who was involved in a grisly case that Brennan handled. Millegan recently spoke to Zap2it about the moment the showrunners contacted him to reprise the role. He said he was very excited and immediately agreed to the offer. According to him, the viewers are in for a fun-filled ride in season 12, as more details will be revealed about Zack and his secrets.

"He's been in a mental hospital for eight years. He's been through a lot, and we're going to find out what he's been through ... I've read episode 1 [of Season 12] and it's amazing. It's really, really good. It's very fun, and it's a lot of Zack. Fans will not be disappointed when they find out what Zack has been up to for the last eight years," the actor said.

The final season of "Bones" will air in 2017 on FOX.
