In two months, fans will once again catch new episodes of "Bloodline" season 2 on Netflix. The family drama was received well by critics and the audiences and it was just fitting that the streaming service renewed the series.

With a new season coming up, fans should expect new characters John Leguizamo and Andrea Riseborough to stir up the drama as they play Ozzy and Evangeline, respectively.

"Bloodline" revolves around the Rayburn family and how they are peacefully living in the Florida Keys. But when the black sheep of the family, Danny (Ben Mendelsohn), returns home to celebrate his parents' 45th anniversary, trouble starts and he's determined to expose the family's dark past.

But at the end of season 1, Danny was murdered and the events that follow it will be the focus of season 2. The new season will also see how the Rayburns will deal with the death of their own and cover up their association, considering John (Kyle Chandler) was the one who killed his older brother.

There are so many questions left by the season 1 finale. One would ask if lies and betrayal will ultimately destroy the relationships among the Rayburns. Fans are also wondering how long it will take for authorities to finally figure out who's behind Danny's death.

Mendelsohn's character may already be dead but he'll pretty much be around for more episodes as season 2 will also dig deeper into Danny's past. "Bloodline" executive producer Glenn Kessler confirmed at last year's Television Critics Association summer press tour that Danny will be featured in flashbacks. Mendelsohn's stellar portrayal of the troublemaking Rayburn is one of the reasons why the actor still gets to stay in the series.

What secrets Danny has and how they affect the Rayburns in general should make for an interesting season 2. "Bloodline" season 2 is set to premiere on May 27 on Netflix.
