Big 'Pokemon Sun and Moon' announcement set to be made on May 10
Ever since it was officially revealed back in February, there really hasn't been much else made known about "Pokemon Sun and Moon," but that is set to change very soon.
After months went by without any significant bits of official information coming out about the new games, fans can now look forward to a major announcement, which pertains to the eagerly anticipated titles, being made on May 10.
In a post on Line Blog, producer Junichi Masuda revealed that the big announcement would be made at around 21:00 JST.
Unfortunately, Masuda did not reveal exactly how the new information will be announced, leaving open the possibility that a livestream event could be in the works or perhaps the additional details could even be shared through a press release.
It looks as though Pokemon fans will just have to stay tuned to see exactly how the new information will be revealed and to also find out what will be shared.
While official details regarding "Pokemon Sun and Moon" may have been difficult to come by over the past few months, a few leaks have still hinted at what people may be able to expect from the upcoming games.
Back in April, the new games became popular topics in the rumor mill after some interesting trademark filings made their way online. The trademark filings may have even hinted at the names of the new mascots.
Images of the trademark filings were shared over on NeoGAF and they indicated that the new mascots may end up being named Solgaleo and Lunaala.
Hopefully, fans will know more about the official mascots of the upcoming games, as well other essential bits of information, when new details are finally shared on May 10.
No exact release date has been announced for the upcoming games, though fans can still look forward to "Pokemon Sun and Moon" being made available during this year's holiday season.
