While Jimmy McGill's eventual transformation into Saul Goodman is inevitable, the more viewers learn about his original persona, the more viewers gain insight of the sad life of this funny "Breaking Bad" character. All season long, Jimmy has been trying to become his most authentic self — the person he truly wants to be.

In the previously aired episode "Inflatable," Jimmy caused general nuisance and dressed in brightly colored suits so that he would get fired from the firm but also get to keep his signing bonus. After initially rejecting Jimmy's offer to start their own law firm, Kim proposed a compromise that they both start their own separate practices in the same office space to minimize expenses. The episode ended with Jimmy pausing and not giving Kim an answer.

Will Jimmy finally give an answer in the upcoming episode?

In next week's episode titled "Fifi," Jimmy will be presented with an opportunity that will allow him to gain an edge against his competitors. In the promo, Jimmy's new information seems to be related to a military base. Inspired by the information he was able to gather, he quickly gets back to work. He stops by a printing shop and demands to purchase an X-Acto knife, a ream of paper, and a glue stick.

In another scene, Kim is seen trying to talk her to boss Howard. Howard announces that he already anticipates Kim resigning from Hamlin, Hamlin & McGill. However, she rushes back to the office after Chuck is seen collapsing.

Meanwhile, Mike continues to go up against Tuco and his family. In order to keep his family safe, Mike begins an investigation that will help him finally settle the score with his dangerous adversary.

To see how much Jimmy continues to transform, be sure to catch "Fifi" airing on April 4.

Season 2 of "Better Call Saul" airs every Monday at p.m. ET on AMC.
