Game developer DICE has recently published a job ad that is specifically looking for someone with a background in combat gameplay designing, according to the official listing.

"As Combat Gameplay Designer at DICE you play a crucial role when it comes to the quality of the combat gameplay and delivery of design specifications for combat systems," the listing said for its job description. "As Combat Gameplay Designer you will be responsible for guiding the technical designers as well as collaborating with level designers, animators and other disciplines."

Because of this latest spotted listing, many fans now believe that DICE is now planning to do some upgrade for the combat system of the upcoming "Battlefield 5," most especially because of the fact that it is looking for a well-experienced individual in the field, said Gaming Bolt on its report.

However, the post did not indicate the specific project, if the lucky individual will work on "Battlefield 5." It did mention, though, that the ideal person should have published at least two AAA titles in the action genre or first-person shooter (FPS).

Sadly, everything at this point is still based on speculations. With that in mind, it is best to take this update with a pinch of salt, since there is no guarantee that this ad is actually for "Battlefield 5." Needless to say, better consider this as a mere theory until proven otherwise.

Meanwhile, David Sirland, the producer over at DICE LA, has recently announced that they are now closing their support for the Community Test Environment for the company's current IP, "Battlefield 4." This could be an indication that the company has now turned most of its attention and focus to the development of the next installment, "Battlefield 5."

"Battlefield 5" is now set to come out sometime later this year, as revealed by Electronic Arts' Chief Financial Officer Blake Jorgensen.
