"Batman: Return to Arkham" was confirmed to be indefinitely delayed by its game developer. But now, fans may expect to see the bundled game this November.

According to sources who reported to Eurogamer, "Batman: Return to Arkham's" development is far from complete and the release date has been pushed back to November at the earliest. The game was supposed to be due this end of July but Warner Bros. announced that it had to be delayed.

Previously, "Batman: Return to Arkham" was indicated to be a September 2016 release by online game retailer Base.com, the publication noted. However, this only serves as an estimate for retailers and the listing has since been considered outdated.

The delay is reportedly due to the frame rate issues faced by developer Virtuos Games. The game is also not quite doing well enough with its development at the moment. The reason for the delay is in line with the statement from Warner Bros' given late in June, when the status of the game's release date was first announced.

"After reviewing the progress of the project, the team at WB Games has decided to delay the release of Batman: Return to Arkham to give the team at Virtuos Games additional time to deliver a polished Batman Arkham game experience."

It is also assumed that Warner Bros. wants to be more cautious this time around since it can be recalled that "Batman: Arkham Knight" was a major fail for the PC.

While November is now the possible release date, there is still a possibility that the game won't make it by then. In that case, "Batman: Return to Arkham" may even be pushed back to early 2017.

"Batman: Return to Arkham" is a collection of remastered versions of "Arkham City" and "Batman: Arkham Asylum." The compilation will be released for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Both Arkham titles will also have all of its DLCs including side stories and character costumes.
