'Attack on Titan' season 2 release date, spoilers: 'Clash of Titans' arc, characters' revelations to be featured in anime
The sophomore take on "Attack on Titan" has been eagerly awaited for by Anime fans despite previous reports that the second season has been put on the shelf temporarily due to issues on production. But not everything is unpleasant lately for the series as new reports have emerged lately that will surely delight fans.
The Bitbag confirms that the anime series is set for an early 2017 release. Alongside the confirmation are the emerging details indicating that the series will be featuring the "Clash of Titans" arc along with juicy revelations in relation to the identities of some characters. Furthermore, the second season will be religious to the manga series, which would point that the Rogue Titan is set to take it out on the Armored Titan.
The "Attack on Titan Season 2" will also be featuring the Reiss family in power. It is revealed that the family members of the royal family are all Titans which would bode well for them in the upcoming storylines of the series. Krista, on the other hand, has also been confirmed as part of the Reiss family. And just for this association, the character is destined to rule throughout the second season. Meanwhile, Krista's mysterious protector is also bound to be unveiled during the second arc.
A rebellion to be spearheaded by Commander Smith next season against the corrupt King will also be featured. Viewers might also be surprised to see that all of the King's acts are not solely his but some of them have also been perpetrated by the Reiss family.
