Assassin's Creed 5 set for Q3 release? Game to have two parts: Unity and Comet [trailer]

Assassin's Creed 5 is the upcoming installment of the franchise Assassin's Creed line to be released on PS4, Xbox One and PC.

Assassin's Creed 5 will be in two parts – Unity which is set in the French revolution in Paris, France, for PS4 and Xbox One; and Comet, which makes a Templar out of the gamer, for PS3 and Xbox 360. If the game follows the trends, it will likely come out in fall this year with a new protagonist.

According to Polygon, a rumored new co-op mode is an alternative to the regular version of single player. This will be not only be showcased, but will be available to try out during the Electronic Entertainment Expo or E3 2014 conference in L.A. Convention Center, California, June 10-12, along with the single player campaign.

Ubisoft's North American President Laurent Detoc said that they are willing to delay the release of the next Assassin's Creed if the quality is jeopardized. "You bring something fresh, but you have to bring quality too," he said.

The gaming world estimates that the launch of Assassin's Creed 5 will be in the last week of October this year, perhaps October 28, 2014, as last year's Assassin's Creed 4 (AC4) came out on October 29, 2013. However, until Ubisoft gives an official announcement for the release date of AC5, this release date estimate remains unsure.

The teaser trailer for the upcomign game was released March 21, 2014 as shown below. The parkour movement is said to be among its new features.
