Android 4.4.3 update for Nexus 4, 5 and 7 is rumored to be rolled out this month, though there is no news of the firmware from Google yet. The update (KTU84F) was first heard from Sprint for their Nexus 5 users mid-April, but changed the schedule later due to some issues. Also, HTC developer LlabTooFer posted on his blog that the update will roll out for HTC One M7 and M8 Google Play editions in May to June.

Update Is Definite But No Release Date

There have been reports that the update was seen in some places but Google has not released its changelog yet, which records any change made to a software. Android 4.4.3 update for Nexus 4, 5 and 7 is said to come with bug fixes and is not expected to bring new features.

Android software issues are said to be caused by the Kitkat 4.4 update in November, and Nexus users especially, were asking for fixes since last year. As days passed by, the issues persist and piled up.

Issues That Need Fixing

According to GottaBeMobile, the biggest pain among Nexus 5 owners is call-related, at the device does not ring when called; and even when the device is connected to a Wi-Fi or LTE, it does not show incoming calls. Some owners of Nexus 7 2013 complained of slow charging, which they said takes eight hours.

Other complaints are poor battery life, low-volume Bluetooth headsets on some Nexus 5 users, and camera bug by Nexus 4 owners.
