Yet another addition to the AMD's Radeon RX lineup seems to be on its way, as a listing for the AMD Radeon RX 490 graphics card was apparently spotted online.

Furthermore, it also seems as though the listing for the still unannounced graphics card even appeared on AMD's official web site.

The listing appears to have been taken down since its brief moment of seemingly accidental exposure, and fortunately for those who may have missed it, Reddit user "BehindACorpFireWall" was able to share an image of the listing in question.

The AMD Radeon RX 490 does not appear on its own and instead looks to be a part of an AMD key code redemption program that is apparently running all the way through to the end of 2016, prompting speculation that the rumored graphics card will also be coming out at some point later this year.

Since the RX 490 has yet to be officially announced, official details about it are obviously scarce.

Still, WCCF Tech has indicated that the new graphics card will be the high-end variant of AMD's RX lineup. The web site also noted that it could be AMD's answer to the powerful NVIDIA GTX 1080.

If AMD really is planning to position the RX 490 to go directly against the GTX 1080, then people can probably expect the former to also provide support for virtual reality gaming.

Gamers who also want to indulge in 4K gaming and other forms of it that require heavy duty graphics cards may also be able to rely on the RX 490 for support.

People can probably expect the rumored high-end variant of the RX lineup to be on the more expensive side as well, though it's unclear if it will end up being made available for around the same price as the GTX 1080.

More news about the AMD Radeon RX 490 should be made available in the near future.
