Another Indie wrestler could be joining the WWE NXT ranks soon with word that Ricochet (aka Prince Puma) is reportedly set to come on board.

Considered as one of the more promising rising stars, Ricochet has been linked as a possible addition though proof of such has yet to crop up.

Ricochet carved a name for himself for being part of Lucha Underground and the New Japan Pro Wrestling factions. But several hints at shows on the two circles seem to have ignited some rumors that the Indie star could be making the big jump.

Lucha Underground reportedly had a segment where Prince Puma's face was on a casket. For some, this could be a way to indicate that he will be leaving the organization soon.

Over at the NJPW circuit, Ricochet teamed up with Matt Sydal at the Invasion Attack 2016 last weekend as they defended their IWGP junior heavyweight tag team titles.

The tandem faced off against Roppongi Vice where a loss could spur up rumors all the more. And on cue, Ricochet and Sydal did lose that match which hints at something done on script should Prince Puma indeed join WWE NXT.

All these signs could be nothing more than wild speculations. But when placed together, there is no denying that such does account for a possible move. Padding that belief as well is the fact that Ricochet has not accepted any Indy offers this June, all the more ramping up talk of a possible transfer soon.

Triple H has headlined ramping up efforts to evolve WWE NXT as proven with previous recruits. WWE NXT has become the prime landing spot for both new and old (but popular) names in the wrestling world and Ricochet could be the latest addition to the WWE family.

With some WWE NXT stars quietly moving up to the WWE regular shows, replenishing the NXT roster with new faces seems to be imminent. So will Ricochet follow the other stars comprising a revamped WWE NXT lineup soon?
